The Lean-QA manifesto

A QMS is not certified because it is complete. It is certified because it is effective. Here are the five principles we apply in every Lean-QA project.

1

Effectiveness before completeness.

A QMS is not certified because it has 800 pages of manuals. It is certified because its processes work in daily operations and the auditor can follow them.

2

Increments before waterfall.

We deliver in 2-week sprints. Every sprint ends with an audit-ready increment: a released document, a trained process, a passed mini-audit.

3

Users before standard.

Every requirement is phrased from the role that has to live it. "As a buyer I want to..." — not "The organisation must...". The standard is input, not output.

4

Ownership before consulting.

The organisation builds its own QMS. We moderate, coach and secure method — but the stories are delivered by the team whose processes are described.

5

Audit-readiness as the yardstick.

"Done" means audit-ready: document created, professionally released, owner named, filed in the DMS, standard reference traceable, training completed. One point open — the story stays in the sprint.

Audit-ready in 90 days — in sprints, not in filing cabinets.
